It's finally finished! This one took me a while. It is inspired by the Beethoven's classical music, particularly Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata, and started as me trying to draw a human version of my "Moonlight Sonata" necklace design [link] It is also inspired by the fabulous piano playing of Regina Spektor, particularly in the song "Apres Moi". Oh, and she's also named after the song "A Letter To Elise" by The Cure, just because I  The Cure & that song is amazing.The artwork was inspired by many, including *nati and *kmye-chan, the colouring was inspired by *staje. I was trying a new style of colouring as most of my stuff has been warm tones, pink and rainbow  Lineart done traditionally with Faber Castell pitt pens, then coloured with mouse in Photoshop. Textures from Mayang [link] and sxc.hu. Dotty brush by ~manitu. |
